New Sermon Series

Wednesday Night Recap

There is not a lot to recap from last night. Last night was our "Get in the Groove", back to school event. Those in the student ministry (at least most of them) spent the evening in a very competitive game of Super 4-Court Volleyball. This is such an awesome game! With over 30 teens there it was a great night. Big changes are on the horizon for the student ministry. Beginning next Wednesday, we will split the big group into a Junior High and a High School group. This will allow for more age specific teaching and discussion. Small groups will then be based on gender in each age range, i.e. High School girls, junior high boys, etc. I am really excited about this change. I believe God has great things on the horizon for this ministry. I can't wait to see what happens next. A BIG, BIG, BIG thank you to the student ministry volunteers that helped make last night a huge success and are making the upcoming changes possible. Don Burton, Linda Martin, Leslie Roggio and Karen Smith, you guys rock! I couldn't do what I do without you. Thanks for investing your lives in the lives of these teens.
